Asquith was the Prime Minister of The United Kingdom form 1908-1916.

 3 1/4  x 4  1/2 inch gravure on a larger page.  There is a facsimile signature below the portrait.  Hanna was an industrialist and Republican politician from Ohio.  He was McKinley's campaign manager in 1896.  Hanna was also a very powerful member of the U. S. Senate.

New York  Governor

Hill was the Lieutenant Governor of New York and became the Governor when Grover Cleveland resigned in 1885.  He was then elected to two full terms in Nov. 1885 and Nov. 1892.  He was the US Senator for NY from 1892-1897.  He was also a candidate for the Democratic nomination for President of the United States in 1892.

S. Senator from Minnesota.  Humphrey also ran for President in 1968, but lost to Richard M. Nixon.

Senator from New York from 1909-1915.  Root ran for his party's presidential nomination in 1916 but did not win.

Schurz was influential in the Republican Party.

and Secretary of the Interior from 1877 to 1881.
